Disney Animator Cinderella Doll (Redressed)

This is a Disney Animator 16-inch Cinderella doll who has been redressed in a custom whimsical outfit. This line of Disney dolls are popular with repaint artists due to their incredible head sculpts.

Before Makeover: Disney Animator 15-Inch Mulan Doll

I found this 16-inch Disney Animator Mulan doll at a thrift store. She has a few stray marks and her hair is a mess. I plan to clean her up, fix her hair, and make or find clothing for her. I will post the "After" photo when I'm finished.

Before Makeover: Disney Rapunzel (Barbie-Size)

Here are some "Before" photos of a Barbie-sized Rapunzel doll that I found in a thrift store. I need to detangle and wash her hair, and it will also need a fabric softener treatment because it is too dry. Then I will find a suitable outfit. I'll post the "After" photo as soon as possible.

Before and After: Vintage Uneeda Coquette Makeover

This vintage doll is about 15 inches tall. In the 1960's she was sold as Coquette. She is constructed of hollow plastic and, like many of the vintage dolls, her hair was horribly dry and looked unsalvageable. I had to do a lot of work on her hair -- detangle, wash and condition, and style strategically.

Coquette basically had short hair on her scalp, with two long strands at the sides for the pigtails. Her hair would have looked very pretty displayed in the original box over 50 years ago, but the hair was definitely not made to last.

This makeover turned out well, and she is now wearing a dress from a Helen Kish doll.

Before and After: Diva Stars Makeover

I couldn't resist the chance to fix this little Diva Starz' hair. I set it on large curlers to give it a soft style. She is about eight inches tall.

Deuce, a Monster High Doll

My granddaughter's Monster High Deuce doll had a broken foot/leg and I made him a pair of crutches to aid his recovery.

Vintage Barbie Clone

This is a vintage Barbie clone who looks very much like a Number One Brunette Barbie from 1959. I have some vintage Barbie clothes to help her return to her original vintage beauty.

YouTube Video of an Eclectic Doll Collection

I love her collection!

YouTube Video of a Horsman Doll Collection

I enjoyed this collector's video of her Horsman doll collection. I have always loved the Horsman dolls since one of my favorite childhood dolls was a gorgeous platinum-haired Horsman baby doll. It was a Christmas gift from my Mother. I have searched eBay for years hoping to find another one. I'll keep looking . . .

Helen Kish Bitty Bethany Doll

Kish Bitty Bethany Doll
One of my favorite modern dolls, 11-inch Bitty Bethany by doll artist Helen Kish.

Patsy-Type Doll

Patsy-Type Doll
I don't recollect the maker of this doll, but I will update this post when I remember! She is about 18 inches tall, and I just love her expression. She has that 1930's look.

Obitsu 60cm ball jointed doll

Ball Jointed 60cm 1/3 Obitsu body with Custom Faceup
The Obitsu dolls were of interest to me for a while. I enjoyed experimenting with different wigs and exchanging heads. This one was about 22 inches tall so it was fun to dress her. The face-up was done by a wonderful repaint artist in England.

Helen Kish 16-Inch Seasons Doll (Winter, a Repaint)

This little beauty is a Helen Kish Seasons 16-inch doll. She is a repaint of the Winter sculpt, and she is wearing a handmade outfit created by the repaint artist. This is a strung doll, not jointed at knees and elbows like the more modern Kish dolls, but still a wonderful doll.
